ORIENT BRIDGE — TERMS OF SERVICE
1. Who We Are
Orient Bridge (“we”, “us”, “Orient Bridge”) is a medical tourism coordination company based in Cairo, Egypt. We coordinate travel, logistics, and communication between patients and independent, licensed third-party hospitals, clinics, and physicians (“Providers”) in Egypt. We do not ourselves provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or care.
2. Nature of Our Service
Orient Bridge acts as a coordinator and facilitator. All medical assessments, diagnoses, procedures, and treatment decisions are made independently by licensed Providers, not by Orient Bridge. Orient Bridge does not practice medicine and holds no responsibility for clinical outcomes.
- We assist with matching you to a Provider, arranging consultations, preparing written cost estimates, arranging travel and accommodation, and coordinating follow-up after you return home.
- Payment for some services is made by you directly to the Provider or to a third party, such as an airline or hotel. The exact payment arrangement for your case will be confirmed in writing before you commit.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your home jurisdiction, to use our services on your own behalf. A patient under 18 may use our services with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for providing any required consent and documentation on the patient’s behalf.
4. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete, and current medical, personal, and contact information.
- Disclose relevant medical history, medications, allergies, and prior treatments to the Provider.
- Obtain any visas, travel documents, and insurance required for your trip.
- Follow the medical and post-treatment instructions given by your Provider.
5. Fees, Payment, and Cancellation
Fees for coordination services, and the payment arrangements for treatment, travel, and accommodation, are set out in writing for your specific case before you commit. Cancellation and refund terms vary by service and by Provider and will be clearly stated to you in writing before payment. Any non-refundable deposits or charges will be identified before you pay them.
6. Medical Disclaimer
Orient Bridge is not a hospital, clinic, or medical practice. We do not guarantee any medical outcome, success rate, or result. All treatment carries inherent medical risk. Before any procedure, your treating Provider will explain the relevant medical risks and alternatives and obtain your informed consent directly. Orient Bridge does not provide medical advice and is not party to that consent process.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orient Bridge’s liability arising from these Terms or your use of our services is limited to the coordination services we personally provide, and does not extend to the acts, omissions, negligence, or clinical decisions of independent Providers, airlines, hotels, or other third parties.
8. Confidentiality of Medical Information
We treat medical information you share with us as confidential and share it only with the Provider(s) directly involved in your case, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, and the Orient Bridge name and logo, is owned by Orient Bridge or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cairo, Egypt, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
